An Unusual Imperial Life

Chantinelle Alicia Thistleborn was born on Coruscant 19 years before the destruction of the first Death Star. Her mother, Alicia Garina, was a high-ranked communication officer, who worked in the staff of the famous Grand Moff Thistleborn. Her father was the Grand Moff himself, who fell in love to Alica. The couple was very glad about the birth about her first and finally single child: Chantinelle, although the Grand Moff always dreamed of a son as heir. He never married Alica, because he was afraid of losing this position which meant everything for him, even more then his love and child. But GM Thistleborn never forgot this duties for the family and helped the young mother and the child with all this power and money. Alica and Chanti were allowed to live in the most expensive area on Coruscant, the famous district between the Imperial Palace of Emperor Palpatine and the Monument Placa. Mother and daughter lived in a palace with many servants but with totally nothing to do. So Chanti was glad to find another girl in the neighborhood: Sierra Etienne. Sierra and Chanti became very fast very close friends who shared everything. Chanti, taller and stronger as Sierra, accepted her as "little sister" and took care about Sierra. Together they explored the different levels of Imperial City, the capital city of Coruscant and the whole Empire and had many adventures in the underground levels. It was a great time for the two kids, nothing could stop them. But it didn't last forever, the kids grew up.
The Time at the Academy of Carida

With the age of 16 Chanti accepted her father's wish and signed in the famous military Academy of Carida, although her and Sierra's heart nearly broke. She chosed the way for an Army career at the academy and was trained to become an officer for the feard shock-troopers in the imperial Army. Not much is known about this time: Chanti never speaks about this time, either because she felt bad as she was separated from Sierra, or because she just hated her study. But she never gave up and made excellence exams at the academy under the sight of General Veers, not knowing that her fater used always his position to help his daughter where he could. So her grades and markings were not based of the talent by Chanti herself, but her father's influence. Despite this fact Chanti always posed as great warrior and thought herself as invincible.
Her first Mission and the Disaster

Not a long time after she succeeded the Raithal Military Academy and being proud about her rank of a Major in an E-SWAP team, Chanti got her first mission: a kidnapping on Coruscant. An unkown number of terrorists captured a shuttle with many important bussinesmen as passsengers. Chanti and her team of seven others soldiers were commanded to get the terrorists "at all risk". She refused according to this command to negotiate with the kipnappers and forced her team to disable the shuttle. From this moment everything gone bad. After the team destroyed the shuttle with a short-range missle, killing all terrorists and hostages, they found themself suddenly under the assault of a second shuttle, systematically killing each member of the E-SWAT team. Chantinelle survived as single person the massacre, but not without very severe injuries: standing in the near of an exploding E-Web blaster, she lost her right arm, parts of the right side of her face, including her right eye, and was hit in her lower abdome. Close to death she was found by the second team, sended to reinforce the situation. The arriving team was shocked by the blood bath they saw, but they found the dieing Major and brought her to the nearest hospital in the Imperial City. The med-techs and their assistant droids succeeded in saving Chanti's life, giving her back a right arm and a normal face they failed. The Grand Moff used so all his money to get contact to the illegal Techren sect leaded by the genius Rez-Thena Mejoo. In a long and difficult operation Mejoo attached an artificial arm implant at her right shoulder and inserted several plasteel implants and an robot-eye into her head, restoring her old face. Sadly even Mejoo wasn't able to solve her last problem: Chanti is infertile since the injuries in her abdome were to severe. Chanti could never forget this disaster, often she is hunted by nightmares and flash-backs about the kidnapping and can't escape them except she gets herself drunken until unconsiousness. Caused by this experience is her fear or mistrustagainst each med-tech, too. She will never forgive the docs to be forever unable to get herself children.
The Imperial Poster Girl

Understanding herself that she won't be ever able to lead troops into battle, Chantinelle resigned all her military positions and jobs and became a civilian. But the Empire couldn't forget her (especially with a GM as father in the background) and gave her the possibility to join the in the Galaxy well-known Ministry of Propaganda as poster girl. These were the most exciting and happiest years of her life as Chanti travelled around the whole galaxy, visiting the various imperial military bases. And as she even became an actress for a lot of famous propaganda holo-videos, even the rebels knew her name. But the whole "poster girl" job was just a cover for her new job: Chanti became a special agent for Emperor Palpatine for diplomatical affairs, specialized for the Darians, because she is one of the rare humans who speak and understand Darian. Under the cover of a MoP member she could easily access each planet and had close contacts to members of the local governments. Even under Emperor Needle she worked as dilpomatical agent and later under Emperor Wyth Skellekim she used even some secret and hidden gimmicks of her implants to solve some problems, a few times even in a bloody method. Chanti never cared what she did nor she ever thought about her targets. As daughter of a GM, it was just natural for her to serve the Empire and its leaders with her whole life, unquestioning her own doing.
A Female Minister

A few years later under the Bureau of Operations Director Alaric Darkstar and later Emperor of the Empire Chanti became the first and single female minister of the Galactic Empire as she was promoted from a plain member of the Ministry of Propaganda to the Minister herself. After the famous General Callipso Doom she was the second woman, who called a position in the High Command her own, excluding of course Alora Jo'Mayrun Antieres, the cruel and mercyless hand of the Emperors, a woman even War Lords and Grand Moffs bow before. During her short time in the HC of the Empire Chanti meet many important and interesting persons and created her good contacts in the Empire and experienced strange adventures. Eg she travelled mit Erik Antieres, the husband of Alora, for a short time, falling in love for him, but never showing this. So she was really shocked by the betrayal of Erik.
The Great Change

Frustrated with politics and intrigues in the HC Chanti sadly resigned her positions and ranks again, becaming a plain civilian. But she couldn't live without the excitment of the Diplomacy and asked Dred Engels, the new Director of the Bureau of Operations, for permission to work for the DilpoServ under the command of Vice-Director and Head of DilpoServ Andes Salerian. Chanti got her diplomatical passport back and brought again troubles as Dilpomatical Liaison Officer into the galaxy, joined by Sierra, who chosed the way of a diplomate, too.
Again in the First Row

Last year as Dred Engels resigned as Director of the Bureau of Operations and Lorn Rhys became the new one, Chanti used the chance and applied for the Vice-Director position, and she got it! Chanti was back again in the first league, in the life of danger, intrigues and excitement. Additionally she was promoted as Head of DiploServ and concentrated totally in organising it. She started visiting the various imperial embassies, dispersed in the whole galaxy. Arrived on the GDI-Star, a space station especially build for ambassadors, she meet many new friends and foes. Eg. one day being in very bad mood she provoke just for fun an unknown presidential guard from Caspar Lotus and nearly even fighted with her in the restaurant of the star. But after this first meeting, seeing they had quite the same characters, she became a friend to the Casparian warrior. Even Chanti meet some rebels, not for the first time, because she had once many friends in the row of the Rebellion as she was stationed once on Tatooine. One of the rebels is Venus Carmen Dekana or better known as Juliet Venus Dekan Darkstar, a young female ambassador of the New Republic, another one is Jessalyn Valios , a rebel tech, Chanti meet and tried to help with some personal problems. But where Chanti is, the problems are never far away: as first Chanti's personal bodyguard Kendell Laarken defected with the help of Jessalyn to the rebels and later General Veers was attacked by unknown terrorists who fled to Caspar, she was commanded to Caspar and force the local government under President Togryyshyk of Shyykryis for an apology! But Chanti arrived on a bad time on Caspar, Lyr Dunwell , the former president, died by a heart attack and the planet whined at his funeral. Chanti who knew Lyr personally, caused a disaster arriving at the funeral. She was later acused to threat the life of the president and forced to leave the planet for her own security. Fortunately she made even new friends during this chaotic time: Avalyshaar Dusten , a doctor and later the next President of CDU, the first med-tech Chanti trusted again.
Etti IV

Commanded by Grand Moff Caldny Chantinelle Thistleborn is currently stationed in the imperial embassy on Etti IV for negotations with the local government about the Han Solo Case. On her side is Sierra again and the both sweared never to be separated! So Chanti is now waiting on Etti IV for some news from Coruscant, new orders by her superiors or trying to get a date with Simone Piper the current head of the CSA, after Dillon is arrested for murder and Roark is missed.
The Lost Years

A lot happened since these happy years.... Sierra is missed since her shuttle vanished in hyperspace and never came back. Not being able to bear the pain she felt, Chanti vanished herself into the Outer Rim, using the time to be able to think about her life. By the time Chanti's superiors changed as often as the leaders of the Holy Empire. Being still the amabassador for the CSA Chanti stayed a while on Etti IV meeting many new friends like a talented young musician Shenneret Veery as many others. Lorn Rhys resigned as Director and Dixon took his job. By this time Chanti moved again back to Caspar, the planet she sweared once ago to never visit it.
Casparian Blues

Chanti wasn't to happy to be transfered back to the CDU. Her primary mission was to install an imperial embassy in Plaxton City as first of any other faction. Since Chanti still had all her charme and contacts it wasn't too difficult to recieve the permission by President Avy Laarken as she had married over the time Chanti's former bodyguard Kendell. After Dixon, Labatiel Atrox became the next Director of BofO and during this episode Chanti became even herself the Vice Director. But her superiors weren't too long satiesfied with her actions and soon she got to feel the anger by Lord Morlok Adlerson who thought that Chanti wasn't worth her job. It's wasn't a surprise then as Morganna Tazecks became the Ambassador to Caspar, following Chanti's footsteps on the planet. This all didn't stopped her from enjoying her presence on the planet making a lot of new friends, especially as she meet the head of the clinic on a cold winter day for a snowball fight. Dr. Kadgie Rodo became a close friend filling the space which was free as Sierra died. But then Chanti meet many others too: again the young musician Shenner which came from Etti to Caspar as well. Or the Marine Officer Elana Tracer whom she calls a close friend. Chanti was even very astonished to find in the person of Venus Darkstar her former comrade and Empress. It was really a very carefree and pleasant time since she had nothing to worry about. Even as Atrox stopped being her boss (he is searched for being an imperial traitor) and Lord Tsaran Joir became the next Director it couldn't destroy her mood.
Being a Traitor

But as Chanti decided to thank the local people and CDU government for all their help and the kindness they showed toward the imperials on Caspar, something went totally wrong in her life: Chanti who created the building plans for the first foreign embassy on Caspar and even oversaw its building, planed a large social event by inviting nearly every living person / alien and droid on Caspar to a large ceremonial ball. The problem was this would be even an invitation for rebels, which were during this times criminals in the eye of each good imperial. And so Athy was just right after her speech arrested and at once brought back to imperial space. Grand Moff Lorn Rhys directly interrogated - better: tortured - her. Athy lost her implanted right eye and complete right arm during the torture, of course without any sedating drugs.
